The many Kotobukiya Collection 2025 event announcements included an update on some Metaphor: ReFantazio figure designs for Gallica, Juani “Junah” Cygnus, and Eiselin Burchelli Meijal Hulkenberg. No release windows are available for any of them yet. However, the Gallica one is the furthest along in development. This means we could see pre-orders open for her in the next few weeks or months.
The Gallica and Hulkenberg Metaphor: ReFantazio figure announcements first showed up back in June 2024. At the time, concept art for both appeared. While Gallica’s finished figure looked pretty much identical, it seems like the pose for Hulkenberg’s is slightly different. The Junah one came up in October 2024.
Two of the three figures appeared as unpainted prototypes this time. However, the Gallica one is painted this time around. The unpainted example appeared back in September 2024 for the first time. Both Hulkenberg and Junah are unpainted at the moment.
Here’s how all three are looking so far. We don’t know what the bases could look like for Hulkenberg and Junah yet, but the one for Gallica already appeared below.
As a reminder, Metaphor: ReFantazio isn’t just a game now. It’s also a manga. The first chapter debuted on January 20, 2025 worldwide, and the next one launches on February 19, 2025.
