Nintendo Switch owners outside of Japan will be getting their first Monster Hunter game very soon. Capcom has announced Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will arrive in the west on August 28, 2018.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is an HD port of Monster Hunter XX, the expanded version of the game released on the Nintendo 3DS in March 2017. It was released on the Nintendo Switch in August 2017 as Monster Hunter XX – Nintendo Switch Ver. Some of the new additions included Ahtal-Ka, Barioth, Barroth, Valstrax and new Deviant monster variants (including for the Fated Four) being added as monsters to hunt. Some notable Deviant forms are Bloodbath Diablos, Boltreaver Astalos, Elderfrost Gammoth, Nightcloak Malfestio, Rustrazor Ceanataur and Soulseer Mizutsune. This means new equipment and quests tied to them. It also added Alchemy Style and Valor Style, as well as G Rank missions.
