The figure of Mizutsune, which is originally known in Japan as Tamamitsune, appeared first on May 25, 2017, which was in-between the Japanese releases of Monster Hunter XX (Generations Ultimate) on the 3DS and Switch in the same year. But while the figure back then was purchasable for 13,200 yen, the new re-release will have a higher price tag of 16,500 yen. People residing outside of Japan, however, can now order the figure from the Japanese e-Capcom storefront via the WorldShopping widget at around $110.70.

This trailer from the original 2017 release also shows how the figure looks from various angles:

Capcom had also previously released a rage mode variant of the monster simultaneously in 2017. In addition, the company released another variant based on the Violet Mizutsune rare species, which debuted in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, in August 2023. This new restock will only feature the original Mizutsune figure.

Mizutsune, one of the flagship monsters in Monster Hunter Generations, has also become one of the series’ popular monsters as it returned in Monster Hunter Rise. The same monster is also slated to appear in the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC game Monster Hunter Wilds via the first major title update coming in April 2025.

The Capcom Figure Builder Creators’ Model of Mizutsune from the Monster Hunter series will be available again on September 25, 2025.
