My Hero Academia Final Season Streaming on Crunchyroll This Fall

As part of the Anime Japan 2025 announcements, Toho and Bones Film announced the final season 8 of My Hero Academia, and Crunchyroll confirmed it will be streaming on the service. It will air starting in October 2025 as part of the fall season. This will be simulcast, as usual. The previous seven seasons are already on Crunchyroll, as are two of the movies.

The eighth season of My Hero Academia will cover the end of the manga. As such, this means the final showdowns between many heroes and villains. Bones Film will be the studio behind it. Toho also confirmed that staff will return for it. The ones mentioned in the announcement are Chief Director Kenji Nagasaki and Character Designers Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima.

While there is some time before this final season of the anime, more My Hero Academia is on the way. The Vigilantes spin-off will be a part of the Spring 2025 season. Crunchyroll already confirmed we’ll be able to watch it there.
