Soulcalibur V director, Daishi Odashima, is at it again, with more tweets about the fifth game in Namco’s weapon-based fighting series. Odashima kicked things off with a comparison to Soulcalibur II.

“In SC2 there was a “level” set for each attack. The higher the level, the higher the priority. It’s not apparent but we still have it in SC5,” he tweeted. Odashima says that Soulcalibur V’s various systems, such as Guard Impact and Just Guard are still being adjusted. Soulcalibur V will have over 20 different stages to fight in.

Finally, Odashima revealed that Namco Bandai are thinking of releasing older Soulcalibur games as download titles. Without giving anything away, Odashima simply tweeted: “We are thinking of releasing past SC series as DLC.”
