Naruto Minato and Itachi Design Contest Figures Appear

As part of the 20th Anniversary of the Naruto series, consumers can get their hands on a Minato and Itachi Banpresto Reproprize figures. The figures will be available outside of Japan through the Banpresto online storefront, which includes it’s store through Amazon, and can be purchased for $27.

However, if you’re not interested in purchasing the figures from the official Banpresto online storefront, you can always try your luck at a TAITO game center. That said, you’ll need to be in Japan in order to go about this method.

The figure designs are based of entries to the Shadow Clone Transformation Showdown! design contest. The official Naruto website published an interview with the contest winner, which also revealed which characters would receive figures in this specific line.

In July 2024, Bandai Namco revealed a Naruto figure inspired by Journey to the West. The figure, part of the special GEM series remix, was available to pre-order for a limited time. It featured a version of the titular protagonist, Naruto, in an outfit inspired by Sun Wukong from Journey to the West, staff included.

Naruto and Naruto Shippuden can be watched on Crunchyroll, which offers all 720 episodes. For manga readers, Viz Media distributes the Naruto manga outside Japan.
