Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Gets New Young Sasuke Character for Free

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is getting another version of Sasuke, and this time he’ll be free DLC. Sasuke Uchiha (Young Ver. Final Battle) will debut on February 28, 2025. He’ll be a part of the patch that also brings in SS+ weapons and additional rebalancing. That will be followed by a patch that addresses bugs. As a reminder, this game has been around since 2018 and is still being updated.

The character reveal was accompanied by a first trailer on social media. It began by showing his official art and confirming he’ll be part of Special Master-Ninjutsu Training Vol. 13. From there, Bandai Namco showed off gameplay by pitting this Sasuke against Naruto. We get to see his Chidori Layering, his Cursemark Second State, and Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu performed in the teaser. The video also highlighted the new cosmetics coming to the title, which are the Sasuke Outfit Childhood Ver costume, the Sasuke Back in Time Ver costume, a Sasuke’s Eyepatch accessory, and Sasuke: Cursemark Second State hair.

There are so many Sasuke options in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, as he started appearing right at launch in the base game. For example, the original one was Sasuke Uchiha, who was a Range type character. Sasuke (Boruto) showed up after and was another Range unit. When the free Sasuke (Last Battle) appeared, it ended up being a Defense unit. 

Here are the full patch 2.61 patch notes regarding weapon, ninjutsu, and secret technique rebalancing, which were shared on Bandai Namco’s official site:

Leaf Whirlwind

• The technique now has more forward movement.

Rasengan

• Increased lunge tracking ability.
• Adjusted the motion that enemies take when hit.
• Decreased cooldown time.

• Increased axis correction time.

• It is now possible to activate this Secret Technique mid-air.
• Decreased activation time.

• Added Super Armor to this technique’s lunge.

 Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu

• Increased projectile speed.
• Increased tracking ability.

Super Beast Scroll: Lion

• Increased damage.

Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu

• Increased damage.

Kirin

• Increased attack range.

Host Transformation: Six Tails

• Increased the Giant Bubble’s damage.

Defense Type

8 Trigrams Palm Rotation

• Decreased cooldown time.

Earth Style: Earth Pillar Explosion

• It is now possible to activate this ninjutsu mid-air.

Water Prison Rosary Bondage Jutsu

• It is now possible to activate this ninjutsu mid-air.

Heal Type

Paralysis Jutsu

• Increased ninjutsu speed.
• Decreased time until the attack.

Heavy Boulder Jutsu

• Increased damage.

Cherry Blossom Clash

• Increased damage when this ninjutsu hits in the center.

Crimson Drizzle

• Increased damage when this ninjutsu hits in the center.

 8 Trigrams: Air Palm

• Increased damage.
• Increased projectile speed.
• Increased tracking ability.

Byakugan

• Adjusted so only the user does not take guard damage while this ninjutsu is active.
• Adjusted so only the user can guard against guard breaking attacks.

Nervous System Rupture

• Reduced time required to cancel into another action when this secret technique is activated.
• Adjusted the motion that enemies take when hit.

Lava Style: Lava Monster Jutsu

•  Increased the continuous damage when hitting the lava monster before impact.

Tsukuyomi

• Decreased time until debuff.
• Increased length of debuff time.
• Increased damage.

Strength of a Hundred: Flower Cannon

• Increased the heal-over-time effect.

Rebalanced Weapons

• Adjusted the motion that enemies take when hit by ground Weak Attacks.

Bandai Namco’s only 2.62 patch notes stated, “Bug fixes implemented.”

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and Sasuke Uchiha (Young Ver. Final Battle) will join the roster for free on February 28, 2025.
