Yuzu, a pop rock duo, sang the opening, “Get Back”. Anime fans may already be familiar with the two, as they provided “Hyori Ittai”, “Reason”, and “Nagareboshi Kirari” for Hunter x Hunter (2011). You can hear a little bit in the newest trailer for Pocket Monsters: Mega Voltage. However, the trailer on the official YouTube channel for Pokemon in Japan region locked it. You have to be in Japan to watch it.

In the trailer, we can see older versions of Liko, Roy, and Dot. It also features Ult, a new character with a Sableye as his partner. His voice actor is Natsumi Fujiwara. Fujiwara previously appeared as Abigail in Great Pretender, Damian in Spy x Family, and Pulchra in Zenless Zone Zero. As the title of the show suggests, Mega Evolutions will become a key mechanic in Mega Voltage. We can confirm the Mega evolutions of Sableye and Lucario, as well as see characters like Roy and Ult with Mega Rings around their wrists.

Pocket Monsters: Mega Voltage, the next installment after Rayquaza Rising, will start airing on April 11, 2025. You can watch Pokemon Horizons on Netflix.
