Note: There will be spoilers for the Azumanga Daioh crossover with Yotsuba below.

Leaker ryokutya2089 shared the information without revealing what the exact contents of the crossover are. However, people on social media have started to share images of the latest volume of Yotsuba showing which Azumanga Daioh character made a cameo. In one of the chapters, Ayumu Kasuga (also known as Osaka) makes an appearance as an adult teaching physical education after having finished college.

In the volume, Yotsuba meets Osaka who reveals that she teaches Yotsuba’s friend Ena Ayase. In a previous chapter released a few years back, Ayumu was vaguely hinted at by Ena, who mentions to a different character how she could recognize his Kansai accent due to one of her teachers at school being from Osaka.

Azumanga Daioh is a yonkoma (four panel) comedy manga written by Kiyohiko Azuma between February 1999 and May 2002, which received a popular anime adaptation in 2002.

The Yotsuba Volume 16 is now available in Japan, with no English release date available yet. Yen Press handles the English release of the manga.
