New Zenless Zone Zero Character Trigger Debuts in 1.6

Yet another new 1.6 Zenless Zone Zero character appeared, and Trigger is part of a faction that hasn’t had a new character join it since the game’s launch. She will be a part of Obol Squad when the update arrives.

As a reminder, there’s only one other named Obol Squad Agent in Zenless Zone Zero, and that’s Soldier 11. In fact, the initial announcement included a statement about Trigger from her. It hinted that this is a mysterious individual who doesn’t talk about herself, but is quite capable. The other statements also hinted that she plays the harmonica and enjoys red bean buns. She was referenced during the “Mole in the Hole” quest that appeared in the game at launch as well.

The announcement images for Trigger also hinted at what we can expect from her as a unit. She’s a Stun specialty character, which means she’s designed to be used to daze and stun an opponent so an Attack type like Soldier 11 could do more damage. Her attacks also deal Electric damage. We don’t know if she’ll be an A or S-rank Agent yet, however.

Here are all three initial images showing her off:

There’s also a YouTube Short highlighting the character:

This means we’ll see three new Agents appearing as playable characters in Zenless Zone Zero 1.6. After the 1.5 update, HoYoVerse shared two who will appear. One is Silver Soldier Anby, a new version of the Cunning Hares member, while the other is Sons of Calydon member Pulchra Fellini.

Zenless Zone Zero is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and Trigger will be a new character in 1.6.
