The Thanatos model kit depicts the ultimate Death Persona from Persona 3 Reload who can be assembled and posed into various positions. He was first announced in October 2024 as an unpainted prototype. The final model kit will come pre-painted, it only needs to be assembled.

Thanatos will cost ¥8,800 from the Good Smile Company and can be pre-ordered now. Pre-orders are open now until March 26, 2025, and the model kit will be shipped in September 2025.

The model comes with a sword that can either be kept sheathed at its waist or wielded by Thanatos. His coffins are articulated and attach to his back via a translucent arm. Similarly, his limbs and coat parts are also articulated. Metal chain parts are used to link the parts through the backs of the coffins and into two slots on Thanatos’ shoulders. It also comes with a transparent base to aid with posing.

The model kit is the latest Persona 3 Reload merchandise from Good Smile Company. In 2024, the company released a Pop-Up Parade figure of the game’s protagonist, which is set for release later in 2025.

The Persona 3 Reload Thanatos model kit is available to pre-order now for a September 2025 release. Persona 3 Reload is out now for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
