Pokemon Champions Heading to Switch and Mobile

During the February 2025 Pokemon Presents, The Pokemon Company International announced that Pokemon Champions is in development for Switch family systems and mobile devices. It will be a multiplayer battle game that can connect to Pokemon Home to get characters for us to fight with against others online.

Following a cinematic trailer, a few details about Pokemon Champions were shared during the presentation. For example, this is a new The Pokemon Works title. It will be compatible with Pokemon GO, Pokemon Scarlet, Pokemon Violet, and Pokemon Home. People will be able to send from Pokemon GO to Home, then to this new game. Meanwhile, as usual, you can transfer characters back and forth from Scarlet and Violet to Home as usual. There will also be in-game Pokemon to partner with in-game, in case you don’t have ones on-hand.

This isn’t the first time we saw a game appear on both the Switch and mobile devices. Pokemon Unite is playable on both. So is Pokemon Cafe ReMix

There’s no release window for Pokemon Champions yet, but it seems it will appear on the Switch, Switch 2, and both Android and Apple iOS devices.
