Puyo Puyo Games Being Discussed in Puyo Day Special Program

SEGA announced information about the Puyo Puyo game series will be discussed in an upcoming Puyo Day Special Program. The broadcast will be held on February 1, 2025 at 8PM JST/3AM PT/6AM ET/12PM CET. This will include the latest information about Japanese mobile title Puyo Puyo!! Quest.

The Puyo Day Special Program will be broadcast over YouTube and Japanese streaming platform Niconico. Those who wish to view the program through YouTube can already set an alert to be notified once the broadcast goes live.

Special guests will appear on the Puyo Day Special Program which includes various voice actors and esports talents that are associated with the Puyo Puyo game series. In 2018, Japan officially recognized Puyo Puyo as an esport. As to what games will appear on the broadcast, only Puyo Puyo!! Quest has been confirmed. The Japanese mobile title released in April 2013 and has surpassed 28 million downloads.

However, information concerning the broadcast also mentions that other details concerning the series will appear, and that a wide variety of information will be disclosed. SEGA also encourages fans to share messages and fanart about the Puyo Puyo series with a special hashtag ahead of the stream.
