Ranma 1/2 Remake Akane and Shampoo Nendoroids Coming

Good Smile Company used its Nendoroid Funs 2025 Winter presentation to reveal it is developing Akane and Shampoo Nendoroids based on their Ranma 1/2 remake appearances. They’ll join series lead Ranma, who appears later in 2025.

Both Akane and Shampoo are very early in development. As a result, only concept art for both characters appeared during the showcase. However, these do hint at some of the accessories and outfits the figures will come with and “wear.” Akane will wear her standard, casual dress. She’ll also come with Ryoga Hibiki in his P-chan pig form, if the image is accurate. Shampoo will wear a long-sleeved cheongsam dress, and it looks like she may have a bowl of chow mein noodles as an accessory.

Here are the official images of each upcoming Ranma 1/2 figure:

While Good Smile Company made Ranma 1/2 figures before, it’s still relatively new to releasing Nendoroids based on the series. Case in point, the one of lead character Ranma isn’t even out yet. Pre-orders for it are still open until February 12, 2025, ahead of his August 2025 debut. However, two scale figures of Akane and Shampoo are already on the way. Shampoo’s will appear in May 2025. Akane’s launches in June 2025

There’s no release window yet for the Nendoroids of Akane Tendo and Shampoo based on their Ranma 1/2 remake anime appearances. Season 1 of the remake is on Netflix now, with season 2 in development. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.
