Resident Evil Re:Verse Multiplayer Game Service Ends in June

Capcom announced that it will shut down the multiplayer game Resident Evil Re:Verse, and that service for it ends on June 29, 2025. On that day, it will also stop including the game with copies of Resident Evil Village. It originally appeared as a pack-in with the title. As servers will be closed, the game will be unplayable after that date, even though it would be possible to still download it.

While the Resident Evil Re:Verse service ends in about four months, Capcom hasn’t cut off DLC sales yet. That will happen on March 3, 2025. The Premium Pass will leave the shop that day. So will the RP Boost 3, 10, and 50 packs. It will also stop selling eight costumes for Ada Wong, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon S Kennedy, Hunt, and both the Hunter and Super Tyrant skins.

Here’s the list of skins that will be gone forever after March 3, 2025:

  • Ada Skin: Still Kicking (The Umbrella Chronicles)
  • Chris Skin: Gun Show (Resident Evil 5)
  • Claire Skin: Leather Jacket (Resident Evil Revelations 2)
  • Creature Skin: Hunter γ (Resident Evil Outbreak)
  • Creature Skin: Super Tyrant 1998 (Resident Evil 2)
  • Hunk Skin: Grim Reaper (The Mercenaries 3D)
  • Jill Skin: Battle Suit (Resident Evil 5)
  • Leon Skin: Leather Jacket (Resident Evil 6)

We were originally supposed to first see Resident Evil Re:Verse in July 2021. It ended up delayed into 2022. The Resident Evil Village multiplayer bonus game finally ended up launching in October 2022.
