Sajin Komamura Doesn’t Wear a Helmet in Bleach Rebirth of Souls

Bleach Rebirth of Souls features another immediate spoiler for people who might jump in before getting into the anime or manga, as Captain Sajin Komamura doesn’t wear his helmet when he appears in the game. The Gotei 13 member is known for wearing it at the outset of the story, with the removal of it and his face being an early spoiler in the series.

Editor’s Note: The Bleach Rebirth of Souls trailer below will show Sajin Komamura without a helmet.

The latest gameplay trailer for the Bleach fighter begins as usual. It highlights Komamura’s role in the game, as well as shows his Zanpakuto Tenken. From there, it gets into some of his specific attacks. Appropriately enough, his opponent in the footage is Kaname Tosen, a man who was one of his closest friends. Komamura’s Signature Move is Activate Ten Ken. This prepares the weapon initially, then allows use of the sword. Spiritual Pressure Move 1 is Divine Punishment and uses Kokujo Tengen Myo-oh, while Spiritual Pressure Move 2 continues to use the sword to attack.

As Komamura only appears without a helmet in this Bleach Rebirth of Souls footage, it is unknown if there will be an option to show him with his old or new helmet in-game.

Here are all of the Bleach Rebirth of Souls trailers that appeared before the one before Squad 7 Captain Sajin Komamura.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on March 21, 2025. The Bleach anime, including Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, are streaming on on Disney+ and HuluViz Media handles the manga series outside of Japan.
