Sanrio Characters Miracle Match: Magical Onigokko Is a Switch Game

Developer Imagineer announcedSanrio Characters Miracle Match: Magical Onigokko, a new Nintendo Switch title where players control Sanrio characters and play tag. The game will come out on March 27, 2025 in Japan.

In this new entry of Sanrio’s Miracle Match, a team of 6 characters known as “Challengers” cooperate to try and avoid the “Hunter.” People can play as both Challenger or Hunter. The game includes 42 different playable characters, including popular ones such as Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin, among others. The game allows for single player and local multiplayer with 2 people.

By playing you can earn Jewels, an in-game currency available to use in the game’s shop to buy new characters, as well as different costumes for them to customize their look. Each character has unique skills and attributes such as speed, magic, and radar, that can help in avoiding the Hunter or capturing Challengers with ease.
