The registration process is a fairly simple one. After supplying your age, country, and email, you’ll be sent a code to your email address. Sega did note that there are issues with those being sent out to some, which is being addressed. After that, you provide more personal information and set up the account. You can opt into the Sega Account newsletter with updates and freebies for Sega and Atlus games at this point. Once that’s done, you also have the option to link your Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games accounts to it, as well as a Japanese PSO2 New Genesis version 2 account.

The first game to use this account is Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. This is tied to a Kazuma Kiryu costume for Goro Majima in game. Here’s how that looks:

Sega Account registration is now open and tied to sign-ups for the Sega and Atlus games newsletter. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii‘s release date is February 21, 2024, and it will come out for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam.
