Junjiro is one of the early main characters you will meet in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. You get a key story decision towards the beginning of the game as Naoe to decide what to do with Junjiro. So, should you let Junjiro stay at the Hideout or make him leave in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
Junjiro Hideout Choice, Explained
Junjiro is the boy that you meet at the beginning of the story. Soon after Naoe and her father are attacked, Naoe recovers at the rundown temple alongside the older Sorin and the young boy Junjiro. Junjiro quickly becomes a close friend for Naoe until she decides to leave in search of revenge against her mysterious 12 targets.
That said, soon after this moment, Naoe will arrive at the Hideout, which is your customizable base. It is at this moment that Junjiro once again shows up. He wants to stay at the Hideout with Naoe and you have the choice of what to say. You can tell him to stay there with you or note that “this is no place for a child.”
Should You Let Junjiro Stay in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
As for whether or not you should let Junjiro stay with Naoe at the Hideout in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, there is a clear right answer: you should say that you will let him stay there. The reason for this is because the game just gives you the illusion of choice here. If you say he can stay, he will move in. But if you tell him to leave, he will still move in.
This is a rather hilarious moment where it doesn’t matter what you say. No matter what, Junjiro will join the Hideout as one of the NPCs that lives there. The reason for this is because he is a key NPC that is part of your League. He even has his own side story questline for you to complete later on.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available right now for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
