Square Enix announced it is selling Final Fantasy XIV merchandise like a bag inspired by the Warrior of Light and a replica of the Regulator we see in FFXIV Dawntrail. The FFXIV messenger bag is the more generic of the two items. It is black and features the words “Warrior of Light” in black next to the series’ meteor logo in white next to it. The top zippers and has a blue pull tie with the game’s logo, and that can fold over the front. On the back is an additional zippered pocket with pull tie.

Here’s the how FFXIV Warrior of Light messenger bag looks:

Of the two items, the Regulator is actually a bit of a spoiler. It comes up once you visit a certain place in FFXIV Dawntrail. The device is a controversial one. The replica can worn in three different ways. You can have it in your hair, strap it to your wrist, or carry it on a strap. There are red and blue light options, though you need to put in a AAA battery for that to work.

We could end up learning about more FFXIV merchandise very soon. The Letter from the Producer Live LXXXVI airs on March 14, 2025. In these presentations, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida tends to talk about products tied to the series at the end of the showcase. That’s how we learned about the Schwarzkopf hair dye and LOGOS Outing Equipment camping items.

Final Fantasy XIV and the Dawntrail expansion are available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the FFXIV Regulator and Warrior of Light bag will ship in October 2025.
