So far only contest winners have been able to play Mega Man — the very first one on their PlayStation 3s and PSPs. That’s going to change on August 12.
Square Enix, continuing their PlayStation Network support, uploaded Final Fantasy — the very first one as a downloadable PsOne game. However, this isn’t the original Final Fantasy available on the Virtual Console.
Looks like Wild Arms 2 is following in the footsteps of Metal Gear Solid. The PsOne game was re-rated by the ESRB, a good sign it’s going to pop up as a downloadable PlayStation Archives title.
Konami’s PsOne classic, Metal Gear Solid, is now available as a downloadable game in North America. If you have a PlayStation 3 or PSP you can pick it up for $9.99.
Continuing their trend of releasing Final Fantasy games as PlayStation Archive downloads Square Enix put Final Fantasy Tactics online. Not Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, the original PsOne game.
