Psyonix Studios announced that Rocket League has hit 40 million players worldwide, over all the available platforms. They thanked the players and the community for the great news at the start of the new year.
The Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League will have a Mario NSR, Luigi NSR, and Samus Gunship available as Battle Cars, with the NSRs looking different depending on which team a player is placed on.
However, the developer did not confirm if Rocket League would ever see a release on the console, saying they “don’t have enough information at this time.”
During The Game Awards earlier tonight, it was announced that Rocket League is headed to Xbox One in February 2016, and it’ll have two Xbox One exclusive cars from Halo and Gears of War.
