This Week in Imports: Die in Nioh 2, Fight in My Hero One’s Justice 2

There are two big games waiting to debut this week–Koei Tecmo’s Nioh 2 and the Bandai Namco’s My Hero One’s Justice 2. For the former, we dive once again into a yokai-laced Sengoku world with a brand-new customizable protagonist. Amusingly, Final Fantasy XIV Producer Naoki Yoshida is one of the preset looks. Due to the protagonist being half-yokai, they’ll be able to use various powers depending on the equipped spirit in order to spice up combat. (Though they will still die, of course.)

My Hero One’s Justice 2, on the other hand, is a straight sequel to the first entry and is such a fighting game. With more heroes and villains from further on in the main story, players are able to reenact the story of the series while looking at both the Hero and Villain sides, meaning that players will learn new insights about each side was doing during the plot of the manga.

Imprisoned Palm Refrain,the sequel to Capcom’s touch-based visual novel Imprisoned Palm, will hit the Nintendo Switch. Finally, Record of Lodoss War:Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth, a new Metroidvania by Touhou Luna Nights studio Team Ladybug, enters Early Access on Steam this week.
