A Trio Of Legendary Pokémon Is Being Distributed This Month, Includes Shiny Xerneas And Shiny Yveltal

As we mentioned in an earlier post, a Darkrai distribution is happening this month for Pokémon X/Y and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire versions. However, Darkrai is not the only Pokémon being distributed this month. The Pokémon Company has announced that a trio of powerful legendary Pokémon is being distributed throughout May via the Nintendo Network. [Thanks, Serebii.]

Here’s a look at the trailer for the three legendary Pokémon:

Zygarde will be obtainable from May 2nd to May 7th in North America. However, the distribution period will last until May 26th in Europe. Additionally, a shiny Xerneas and shiny Yveltal will also be given away later in the month. Shiny Xerneas will be distributed in North America between May 11th and May 17th, while the shiny Yveltal will be available from May 20th to May 26th.

To obtain any of these Pokémon, players must start up their copy of either Pokémon X/Y or Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, then select the Mystery Gift option.

Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are available for the Nintendo 3DS.
