Like the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games and other titles, Kingdom is a China’s Warring States story. It follows the crusade of Xin, who works with King Ying Zheng of Qin. The two of them work together, with Xin starting as a soldier with ambitions of becoming a general. Together, they hope to bring China together.

The Kingdom manga is still running in Japan. The first volume launched there back in May 2006, and it covered the first eight chapters of the series. It is currently at 74 volumes so far, with the most recent one debuting in Japanese stores in December 2024.

While the manga will be new to us, we can see the anime now. We can stream all five seasons of the show on Crunchyroll. That started its run in June 2012, and the most recent season debuted in January 2024.

The English version of the Kingdom manga will launch in the US on November 11, 2025.
