When .hack//The Movie Comes Out On Blu-Ray, It Will Include A PS3 Game [Update]

Tekken Blood Vengeance is on what Namco Bandai calls a hybrid disc. The Blu-ray movie also includes game content, Tekken Tag Tournament HD and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue Version.

.hack//The Movie will also be released as a hybrid disc with some kind of game content. Details about the game have not been revealed. CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama shouted to his Twitter followers that the game is more than a freebie.

Before the movie shows up on Blu-ray, .hack//The Movie will debut in Japanese theaters in January 2012.

Update: Impress Watch, which covered the event live, retracted the statement about .hack//The Movie being a hybrid disc, stating there was a mix up with Tekken Blood Vengeance, which is a PS3/movie hybrid disc. Thanks to Chris at dothackers for the heads up.
