Where Is the Throne in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals is an enthralling third-person shooter and any fan of the sprawling comic universe will be sure to smile from ear to ear as they see their beloved superheroes like Ironman, Wolverine, and Spiderman duke it out in battle. One of the achievements players can earn, called “Histrionic Perfection”, requires you to do an emote on a throne in Yggsgard. But that description is a bit vague, right? We’ll explain where the throne is located in Marvel Rivals and some of the troubles you might encounter while attempting to fulfil the achievement.

Where Is The Throne in Marvel Rivals?

Before we delve into the nitty-gritty of the steps you must follow, it’s crucial to establish that you can only earn the Histrionic Perfection achievement in quick play or a competitive match. If you attempt this in a created match with bot opponents, it will not count, so unfortunately, there are no cheeky shortcuts you can take on this occasion.

Now, with that out of the way, let’s get into the details of how to do it. You can find the throne on a map called Yggsgard, which is a domination map. During the match, you will go to three locations, one of them being called the throne room. This is where you can find the coveted throne in question. The easiest way to find the throne is to head to the capture point, and to your side, there will be an extravagant staircase. We have provided a screenshot below so you can visually see what the staircase looks like.

You want to proceed up the staircase. When you reach the top, there will be an opportunity to turn either left or right. It does not matter which way you go, but you will soon come across another set of stairs in the opposite direction you travelled. Go up these stairs, and you will come across the throne. Jump onto the throne itself and then perform the emote.

Here comes the frustrating part: the achievement seems to be bugged. You could get it on your first attempt, or it might take you several times. For reference, we got it on our second try. This is obviously annoying, as you can play for a solid hour and might not even come across the map once. Here are a few variables which you might want to consider when going for it. Make sure to finish the match in its entirety, as sometimes, when you exit matches prematurely, it can interrupt achievements. We also recommend attempting this with one of the original characters on the roster, as we got it playing as Scarlet Witch.

Marvel Rivals is available for the PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X.
