Where to Find all Woedica Totem Fragments in Avowed

Each region in Avowed has a totem dedicated to one of the gods of Eora, and collecting them grants you a series of powerful buffs. The first area, Dawnshore, contains 7 Totem Fragments of Woedica, so here’s how to collect them and boost your early adventures in Avowed.

Locations of All Totem Fragments of Woedica in Avowed

Each Totem consists of 6 pieces scattered around a region, as well as a Totem Base that you’ll need in order to activate the other bonuses. Some of these are located in areas with enemies that may be too tough for you to take on, but with some sneaking and swift feet you should be able to grab them and get out even at a low level.

Scales of the Oathbinder (Totem Base)

The base for Woedica’s Totem can be found at the Shrine of Woedica to the north-east of Paradis in Avowed, near where a boar symbol and several bridges are shown on the undiscovered map. To get there, it’s recommended that you walk below and around the city, as the north side is more mountainous. There are some enemies around this way that spawn at Tier 2, so you might want to keep an eye out and be ready to run if you aren’t near that yourself. Once you spy some Godless ruins, Kai should comment that the Aedyrans have made it into a shrine to Woedica and you’ll know you’re on the right track. The Totem will be taking pride of place in the center of the shrine.

Golden Plaque of Promises

This part of the Woedica Totem is in the lighthouse visible from where you first arrive in Dawnshore. Simply climb around until you’re about halfway up and the fragment should be behind a broken wall. You can continue climbing the lighthouse for more treasure and a nice spot to jump safely down into the sea.

Golden Scale of Order

You can find this piece at the top of an area called the Pargrun Cache, just east of where you exit from the Strangleroot during the Message from Afar quest. Near a bridge with a few phantoms hanging around you should find several explosive barrels and a breakable wall. Shoot the barrels and progress up the tower until you reach a section near the top where a lot more phantom and skeleton enemies spawn. Slay them, then head to the vine-covered entrance of the building nearby and peek through with a ranged weapon to find another barrel and door on the left-hand side. Shoot it and continue inside and up the tree and you will find the next piece of your Woedica Totem on a cliff ledge.

Broken Crown Jewel

This is perhaps the easiest Woedica Totem to find in Avowed. Simply head to Paradis Hightown and find Sanza’s Emporium. Open the door behind and to the left of Sanza himself and you’ll find the gem on a workbench, and can pick it up without penalty. You can also purchase an item from Sanza that grants hints to where the other pieces are, though if you follow this guide you shouldn’t need it.

Golden Scale of Justice

Head back in to Southern Paradis and head round to the Pearl District, where the Sparrowhawk gang hangs out. Head round to an area with a lot of scaffolding overlooking the market, on the street south of the Apothecary’s shop. Climb up to a town rampart and follow it until you can jump onto a balcony with a visible painting easel. Head down the ladder to the ground floor to find a bunch of phantoms and the Totem Fragment by a bookcase.

Golden Plaque of Oaths

Moving back over to the area of the map where Tier 2 enemies tend to roam, this piece of the Woedica Totem lies under a place called the Usher’s Hand in Avowed. Depending on how far along you are in the Precious Light quest, you’ll likely find either a bunch of ghosts or a crew of bounty hunters and their pet bear. Dispatch them (or in the bounty hunter’s case, don’t talk to them), and look for a hole in the ground where you can see water. Dive in and swim through an underwater tunnel to find the Golden Plaque of Oaths at the end.

Golden Flames

The final piece is again located in a Tier 2 area, this time the island of Castol’s Folly. Also important to the Precious Light quest, you can make all the enemies nearby friendly if you manage to sneak to the end and parley with their captain. Otherwise, sneak or fight your way through to a gap in the cliffs by a fallen tower with a round dome. There’ll be a lit brazier by the cliff’s edge indicating where you can jump over and find the Golden Flames fragment sat on a blanket.

All Woedica Totem Perks in Avowed

Head back to your camp and head to the Totem display near where Kai often stands. Place the Totem Base and then the fragments on it to unlock the following perks:

• Swift Orders – Reduces Companion Ability Cooldowns by 15%
• The Power of Command – Grants you 5 seconds of increased damage on using a Companion Ability.
• Sympathy for the Damned – Crits build up the Fire Status effect on enemies.
• The Queen’s Burden – An extra 2 points to your Resolve and Intellect attributes.
• Noblesse Oblige – Gain Health and Essence regen after reviving a companion.
• Flames of Resurrection – When you are revived by your Second Wind ability, automatically casts the Ring of Fire spell.
