Where to Find Garden Gnomes in Atomfall

Atomfall is an action-survival game built on mysteries and unreliable narrators. Hidden across its world are secret documents, underground bunkers, and the people who know the truth. Wyndham Village is the sole source of community in Atomfall. Yet, this unassuming rural town has skeletons in its closet. Nothing in Wyndham is as anomalous as the group of garden gnomes suspiciously strewn about the village. The gnomes whimper a jolly death cry when shattered. They seemingly have no other purpose but to be destroyed. However, there is an achievement for smashing ten of them. Here’s where to find garden gnomes in Atomfall, complete with coordinates!

Where to Find Garden Gnomes in Atomfall

The ten garden gnomes you need to smash are all found in Wyndham Village. There aren’t any inside of the shops or the village hall. They all hide outside. Garden gnomes have big white beards, pointy red hats, a blue coat, and are usually holding a carrot in their hand. You can break gnomes with any weapon, but in order to avoid upsetting the villagers (or the guards) it’s best to break them with your fists. You might have to crouch in order to make contact with the gnomes, but you can break them all this way. The following is a brief list of ten garden gnomes in Wyndham Village, along with their map coordinates and a small description of their location:

  • 30.4 E, 78.9 N – Next to the front door of a house, inside the small entryway.
  • 33.2 E, 78.7 N – The roof of the church. Go inside. The staircase is in the corridor opposite the stairs to the cellar.
  • 33.4 E, 79.2 N – Against the Village Hall wall, next to a wheelbarrow and some jugs.
  • 34.6 E, 80.4 N – Perched on the window sill of the Little Tea Room building.
  • 35.5 E, 80.6 N – On the opposite side of the river behind the Little Tea Room. Sitting against the wall of the bridge.
  • 35.9 E, 81.8 N – Backside of a house, next to a small shed and a vertical wheelbarrow.
  • 36.8 E, 79.6 N – On a bench next to the door of a small building inside the Mill Grounds.
  • 36.4 E, 78.1 N – On a park table at the top of a hill behind some houses. Overlooking a small part of the river.
  • 34.2 E, 79.4 N – Right outside Grendel’s Head, on the ground next to a barrel.
  • 35.5 E, 77.5 N – Inside the shed on the hill next to the Skethermoor exit. Go around the back of the house.

If you’re unsure of how to use the coordinates provided, open your map. You’ll notice the numbers 29-37 will go across the horizontal axis, and 77-85 will go across the vertical axis. You can use these to more or less locate the gnomes. Remember to place down a compass marker (Spacebar on Mouse+Keyboard, and X/A on Playstation/Xbox, respectively) at the coordinates, so you don’t lose sight of your destination! After smashing the 10th gnome, you should get the “Orna mental” achievement! Keep in mind that there are likely more garden gnomes than listed here, but destroying more than ten of them won’t yield any further rewards. There is no in-game reward for destroying all the garden gnomes- but it does feel good to do!

Atomfall has plenty more to discover. Whether it’s a dastardly garden gnome scheming who-knows-what, or buried treasure waiting to be found. Regardless, most of what’s hidden will come in handy when it’s time to trade for valuable items. Keep your eyes peeled!

Atomfall will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC on March 27, 2025. It is immediately available in Early Access for PC.
