Where to Find Sticks in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, crafting materials are everywhere for the taking. You’ll need them. Everything in Island Adventure is based on crafting various gifts for the island residents in order to become closer friends with them. The further along your friendship progresses, the more quests you unlock. These quests can reveal new mechanics, additional locations, and even introduce new characters to your playthrough. Although unassuming, sticks are an important item to look out for. You’ll benefit from a large stick collection in the long term. Late-game quests in Hello Kitty Island Adventure will ask for stockpiles of logs. These are easily crafted from sticks- but only if you’ve been collecting them dutifully. Here’s where to find sticks in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, so you can be ready for those tall orders.

Where to Find Sticks in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Sticks are one of the few itemsthat can be obtained through multiple avenues. The quickest and easiest way to get them is by picking them up off the ground! Sticks are in abundance in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. 15 sticks spawn in the Seaside Resort area, and another 15 spawn in Gemstone Mountain. This means a total of 30 sticks spawn every day (or after using an island bouquet!) Both of these areas can be fairly large, but you don’t have to scour every inch of them to find what you’re looking for. Each location has a specific spot where a sizable cluster of sticks spawn every day.

In the Seaside Resort, head to the central island you began the game on. Run along the wooden path from left to right. Sticks in this zone usually spawn in the green areas just off to the side. They’re sometimes hidden by foliage or behind trees, so make sure to check thoroughly! In addition, you can also find sticks on the upper areas of this zone, specifically near guest cabins. For Gemstone Mountain, use the Gemstone Town fast travel point and head directly South. Just past the small pond is a group of small, rocky hills overlooking a cliff. All along these hills is a great place to collect sticks. You can reliably find about 10 sticks here every day. This is the largest grouping of sticks in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. If you’re in a hurry, head here to collect a decent amount of sticks before doing something else.

How to Fish for Sticks in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

If you’ve collected all the daily sticks and want more, you can try fishing for them! The Clamfish variant of fish can be found in most areas of Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Whenever you catch one, you’ll almost always be awarded a stick as an additional reward. The easiest place to fish a lot of Clamfish is next to the Witch’s Hut in the Spooky Swamp. Just to the left of the hut is a small lake where Bog Clamfish swim around at all times. There is no limit to how many of these fish you can catch. This means you can potentially farm sticks infinitely here, circumventing the daily spawn limits!

Keep in mind, Clamfish are fickle fish. Without bait, you might be fishing for a long time depending on how many sticks you want. Try to save your sticks for those big item requirements later in the game! While you’re out collecting them, it’s likely you’ll want to collect other items along the way as well.
