Where to Find the Intimidating Feline Codpiece in Avowed

Merchants in Avowed will sometimes carry treasure maps which show clues leading to unique items and loot, with the first one you’ll likely find being available from a merchant in Claviger’s Landing. It’s not the easiest treasure to find, however, so here’s how to get follow the Intimidating Feline Codpiece Map to find Stelagaer’s Pride in Avowed.

Where to Find Stelgaer’s Pride in Avowed

The treasure map you can purchase from Lynna in Claviger’s Landing is marked as for an “Intimidating Feline Codpiece”, but the item itself is called Stelgaer’s Pride in Avowed. The map shows an image of a gorge with a broken bridge on either side and the treasure tucked away nearby, though you don’t actually need to purchase it to pick up the treasure. Looking at the map of Dawnshore shows two large rivers which seem like they could be likely places for a gorge, but the one we want is the eastern one. You can get there any way you want, but we recommend sticking to the south side of Paradis since there’s a lot of cliffs to navigate should you take the north path. Start from the Paradis Main Gate beacon and head round before following the river upwards.

Walk along the gorge facing north until you see the broken bridge, then look for a stone arch to the west side. Alternatively, wait until you are sent to Runyd’s house as part of the main story, then after you leave head south and around to the gorge again to find the archway. Follow the arch to a breakable wooden wall, then loot the chest inside to find the Stelgaer’s Pride armor piece.

The Stelgaer’s Pride armor in Avowed is a medium set that grants a +5% bonus to Stamina Regeneration and a unique enchantment that casts the Barbaric Shout skill when you take more than 30% of your health as damage. This is perfect for a barbarian build that wants to be attacking at all times rather than blocking or parrying, and leaves your arms bare to show your Envoy’s muscles too.
