Wuthering Waves Ray Tracing Arrives in 2.1

Kuro Games announced that fully integrated Ray Tracing is coming to Wuthering Waves alongside the version 2.1 update on February 13, 2025. Currently, the Ray Tracing options require at least a Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card in order to run, however Kuro Games said the team is “committed to ongoing optimization” and hopes to make the feature available to those with other graphics cards too. Alongside the new graphics options, Version 2.1 is also set to bring new characters, zones, story, and even a fishing minigame to Wuthering Waves. The game is also set to come to Mac OS devices in late March 2025, after arriving on PS5 this January.

The previous version 2.0 update released earlier in 2025 after being previewed in its own livestream back in December 2024. That same update also brought the game to Playstation 5 consoles.

Wuthering Waves is immediately available for the PC, PS5, and mobile devices, while its version 2.1 update is set to arrive on February 13, 2025.
