Yae Miku x Zhongli Genshin Impact Cosplay Is in New Coldplay Music Video

The new official music video for the Coldplay song “Man in the Moon” also happens to feature Genshin Impact cosplay of characters Yae Miko and Zhongli. As part of the events depicted while the music play, two individuals dressed as the five-star units meet and spend time together. It’s now available on YouTube worldwide.

Here’s the full music video for the Coldplay song “Man in the Moon,” and the Genshin Impact Yae Miko and Zhongli cosplay comes up starting at the 47 second mark. First, a woman appears and ends up in the Yae Miko attire at that point. A few seconds later at the 49 second mark, a man transforms into Zhongli. We then see the two meet and interact with each other at the 1:39 minute mark. The Yae Miko x Zhongli moment comes up at the 1:52 second mark, as the two actors share a kiss.

The notes for the music video revealed that Coldplay filmed the video in Singapore. In particular, some of the scenes with the two Genshin Impact characters were recorded at the Jewel Changi Airport.

It hasn’t been too long since we’ve seen a Zhongli banner appeared. A rerun of it showed up in December 2024, alongside Neuvillette’s return. We’re overdue for a Yae Miko return, though. Her last rerun banner showed up in February 2024 alongside one for Xiao.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. “Man in the Moon” can be found online or on the Coldplay album Moon Music.
